Delaware North has launched Ember Casino, its new flagship online gaming platform, in New Jersey on June 16, 2026. The service operates under a digital skin license with Caesars Atlantic City to comply with state regulations.
The platform replaces the company’s predecessor Betly brand and runs on Playtech’s infrastructure. Ember Casino offers a catalog of digital slots and live dealer table games, alongside BetBuddy, a responsible gaming management tool. Jason Gregorec, president of gaming for Delaware North, stated that the platform integrates digital and physical location expertise to support long-term expansion in regulated markets.
New Jersey Market Position
New Jersey recorded over $2.91 billion in player losses across regulated online casinos in 2025, ranking as the third-largest iGaming market in the United States. FanDuel and DraftKings lead the sector with gross gaming revenues of $655.5 million and $569.7 million, respectively. BetMGM, Borgata, and Caesars Palace Online Casino follow with $376 million, $252.7 million, and $203.6 million.
The state hosts 28 licensed online operators, with Spin Palace generating under $6 million in annual revenue.
Delaware North plans to extend Ember Casino to additional regulated states later in 2026 to consolidate its online operations under a single brand. The company currently operates two gaming facilities in West Virginia, Mardi Gras Casino Resort in Nitro and Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Racetrack, where the Betly online service will transition to the new platform.
