1xBet has entered a sponsorship agreement with Gowran Park, one of Ireland’s oldest racecourses, which has operated since 1914. The partnership forms part of the bookmaker’s broader strategy to strengthen its commercial position in the Irish market.
Partnership Scope and Market Context
Under the terms of the arrangement, the 1xBet brand will be featured across fifteen upcoming fixtures, covering both flat racing and National Hunt events. The agreement also includes sponsorship of the Owners' Lounge and the Stable Yard cafeteria, providing visibility within key facilities used by horse owners and stable personnel.
The announcement coincides with the establishment of the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland, marking a new regulatory phase for the sector. According to Horse Racing Ireland, the 2025 season attracted more than one million spectators across three hundred and ninety race meetings, underscoring the continued commercial relevance of the sport. 1xBet has previously maintained partnerships with Punchestown and The Curragh, extending its existing footprint in Irish thoroughbred racing.
Earlier this year, the operator secured a separate commercial agreement with mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor ahead of his return to the UFC.
